Hello
I'm Evan Fewell, an undergraduate student at Tuskegee University majoring in Environmental Science. My passions lie at the intersection of nature, storytelling, and capturing the world through a lens. While I spend my days studying the intricacies of our environment, I also love to explore it visually through photography.
My Story
My journey with photography and videography began in high school, fueled by my involvement in the yearbook committee. Being surrounded by creativity and visual storytelling sparked a passion that wouldn't fade. I vividly remember capturing the energy and excitement of basketball games through photos, and that feeling of translating moments into lasting memories truly hooked me.
Fast forward to college, and I'm actively honing my skills. As part of the media team for our band and the public affairs officer for ROTC, I've taken photography to a whole new level. These roles allow me to document the band's performances, capturing the raw emotions and the audience's connection to their music. On the other hand, with ROTC, I focus on capturing the dedication and camaraderie within the program.
But my exploration didn't stop there. I discovered a fascinating world in macro photography – the intricate details of the world close-up became a whole new way to see things. This fascination with capturing the unseen naturally led me to explore videography, which allows me to tell even more dynamic stories.

It's been incredibly rewarding to see some of my photographs published in newspapers, and my videos have even won competitions. This recognition motivates me to keep learning and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
